ALL tickets are $20.00 per person and includes gift bag of books, light food, drinks and an intimate evening with your favorite authors. All sales are final and nonrefundable. To All East Coast Authors, you are invited to read from your books for exactly five minutes, followed by a ten-minute interview with Ella Curry. The autograph session will take place in the last 2 hours of the event. You are welcome to sell your books and mingle with the book clubs. You may also add your promotional material to the gift bags. The authors keep all book sales!

You can bring books and postcards, but NO signs or large promotional items allowed. Please note this is NOT a booksigning. You will not have a table to setup. The book club mixer can be used to network! You will showcase your books to the book clubs and have an opportunity to sell the books. Bring change for book sales and business cards or postcards. We do not recommending bringing more than thirty books. Securing and maintaining books, as well as procuring sales, are the sole responsibility of the author and not EDC Creations.

A Virtual Book Release party consists of EDC Creations arranging for book clubs and readers to join the author in the Black Authors Network chat room. We will have a ball discussing the book and the "behind the scene" information into the creation of the book. Here is a copy of our backroom stats for BAN Radio show.

An Evening with Ella:
The author will be interviewed, on the air of BAN Radio Show, with Ella Curry for 1-hour. The author will perform a live reading from the book too. The author invites their entire network to join in the party. Reviewers or people who have read the book, will call into the show to add support or to discuss the book. The author chats in the chat room during the interview, answering questions there as well.

To date we have sold over 970 books at our virtual release parties and online events, from the EDC Creations bookstore (stats as of Jan. 5, 2010). There is no way for us to know how many books sold from other locations, but we can let you know how many books we sell in our online store.

::: Media Training for New Authors and Speakers $350.00
Media training is essential to ensure the successful delivery of an author’s message to the media. Leveraging our media and book industry expertise, we conduct an 2-hour media training workshop for each author. The curriculum includes detailed sessions covering each media genre: print, online, radio and television. Authors participate in several mock interviews that are critiqued by our publicity team and used to help each author develop their message and identify effective talking points.

I will share with the authors all the details I learned from a recent Publicity Summit and popular online conference. I take the authors step by step into creating the BUZZ before the book release and how to create a effective publicity plan. Training comes with sample publicity plan and ebook. The media training is held over the telephone and through podcast tips and advice. After reviewing the book or manuscript, we will provide a list of 10 media sources to submit the book to for add publicity.

::: EDC Creations Promotional Giveaways - each week we ship out about 10-12 packages in relation to BAN Radio Show prizes or recognition for our bloggers and newsletter subscribers. These packages go to avid readers across the USA. We include promotional material in all of our mailings. You may add your postcards, business cards or book marks to these mailings. We also offer swag bags (gift bags) to people we meet at events, as a tool to get them to sign up for our newsletter or to check out our clients.
