EDC Creations also offers additional promotional opportunities on the radio
show. Authors, speakers and community leaders can have pre-recorded promo
commercials aired during the monthly shows for $99.00.
OR we can create the commercials and air them for $199.00. The
authors/business owners are sent the audio to keep and we play it 12-15 times
per month. BAN has a loyal fan base of 23,000 as of September, 2008. Our shows
average between 200-400 downloads per show. Email Ella if you are interested in

The EDC Creations Newsletter database is now home to 133, 000 opt-in subscribers
as of August 15, 2008. This is a combined list of my 3 companies, 4 social
networks, and my avid radio fans. To increase exposure for your book or
business, while coming on BAN radio, we offer eblast services to authors,
community leaders, and business owners.
In order to obtain a EDC Creations eblast, go to the link below and pay the
$99.00 fee. We only showcase 6-8 per month--book your eblast as soon as possible
if you are interested. After paying the fee, please send me all the details you
would like in your eblast, including a headshot of you or a copy of your logo.
We give each client a FREE audio presentation with the eblast too! It will go
out within 48 hours of submitting the material.
::: Virtual Book Release Party with eblast announcement
$150.00
A Virtual Book Release party consists of EDC Creations arranging for book
clubs and readers to join the author in the Black Authors Network chat room. The
author will be interview on the air with Ella for 1-hour. The author will
perform a live reading from the book too. The author invites their entire
network to join in the party. Reviewers or people who have read the book, will
call into the show to add support or to discuss the book. The author chats in
the chat room during the interview, answering questions there as well.
The author's books are sold directly from the chatroom, during the party. This
promotion includes a email blast to the EDC Creations database of 133,000
readers. The re-broadcast of the interview is available in 130 RSS feeds,
including iTunes! To date we have sold over 700 books at our virtual
release parties from the EDC Creations bookstore. There is no way for us to know
how many books sold from other locations.
::: Media Training for New Authors
and Speakers $150.00
Media training is essential to ensure the successful delivery of an author’s
message to the media. Leveraging our media and book industry expertise, we
conduct an 2-hour media training workshop for each author. The curriculum
includes detailed sessions covering each media genre: print, online, radio and
television. Authors participate in several mock interviews that are critiqued by
our publicity team and used to help each author develop their message and
identify effective talking points.

reach an entirely new group of listeners? We use your audio to create a podcast
and it can be on iTunes, Internet radio shows and it is distributed through out

you will create 3 recordings for your book promotions and for you. You
simply call in to our recording center and create 2-7 minute messages for
