WHAT READERS ARE SAYING
Love Always Has A Way Of Winning , April 23, 2008
By Priscilla C. Johnson "bookmaniac" (Baltimore, Maryland USA)
...Wells has crafted a different romance novel. She created two characters that are forced to face their character flaws in
order to rekindle a love that never ended. The story was very realistic and filled with emotions. It was very easy to
see the dilemma that each character was faced with and the decisions that they had to make. At times, it moved
slowly but only to bring readers to a very fulfilling ending. This book is recommended for everyone that believes in
Happily Ever After. --Reviewed by: Priscilla C. Johnson, APOOO BookClub
A Special Summer was FANTASTIC!!!!, April 19, 2008
By Mona Lisa Sharpay "Call Me Mrs. Sharpay" (Maryland)
...Victoria Wells did an awesome job of drawing me into each character's life. I felt like I knew the characters
personally. I started to analyze why they did the things they did or said the things they said. Now, don't get me
wrong, Summer made me wanna give her my "Sista, you don't need 'em" talk. However, at some point in our lives, we
have all been in her situation when we have loved a man long and hard!! So, I ain't too mad at her.. But Nick, had a
brick with his name on it! :) I loved the book. It was well written and I loved the story line because it made me laugh,
made me angry, made me cry.. My emotions ran the gamut. That's how I know the author did a great job with the
storyline.--Tracie Sharp (Divas of Discussion)
I used to hate romance!, March 4, 2008
By Tina Brooks Mckinney (Atlanta)
Normally I hate romance! and it was with great trepidation that I picked up this delightful novel by Victoria Wells. A
Special Summer was such a wonderful surprise. For the very first page, Ms. Wells lured me in. It speaks volumes for
a writers abilities when they persuade you to read outside of your genre. I highly recommend this novel as it was
certainly good to the last drop. I would not hesitate to pick up anything that Ms. Wells touches.
