I've two paperbacks available on Amazon.com (as well as two E-books): Karma

Why did I become a writer? Put simply, it was a calling; I had something to say
and preferred to say it via the written word. Thank you.
Bryan Gibson is a
Harlem native who currently resides in Jersey City. In 1998 he attended the
Hurston/Wright Workshop in Richmond, Virginia, and in 2002 was featured in
Gumbo: An Anthology of African American Writing, where he received high praise
from Publisher's Weekly. His first book, Karma Incarnate: The Best of Foolkiller,
was published in 2006; his second, Malefectus and Lesser Tales, in 2007. In 2008
he published Kindle versions of his first two books, and will release an all-new
novel exclusively for the Kindle later this year. In 2009 Bryan's work will be
featured in E. Lynn Harris' Love is Stronger Than Pride, a collection of five
novellas. Bryan is also the proud father a wonderful son, Ryan, whom he loves.

"Choices" is a Young Adult Novel.
Why did I become a writer? I've always been shy and reserved, so
since childhood I have expressed myself better with the written word. I began
with writing poems, short stories and plays way back in the day, and now, doing
my best to use my God-given talent for His glory, I have published a book that I
believe will be a blessing not only to teenagers, but anyone who reads it.

In My Own Words: I am a wife and a mother of two sons, the oldest
in grad school and the youngest a college freshman. I published my first YA
novel, Choices, and named my small company after my teenage niece, Kapri. I like
books and movies that evoke emotion, so when I wrote Choices I wanted my readers
to be moved in the same way. It is an emotional, thought-provoking read. My

Why did I become a writer? I became a writer because I
had a story to tell. I grew up on black literature where we were either victims,
struggling, or morally corrupt. We (AA) never had an age of innocence in
literature. I have purposed in my heart to give us that. I think we deserve it!

Why I became a writer:
I produced and recorded a track by the name of Three Black Boys; people
always use to ask me, "the song is hot; but what was the boys' reason for
committing the robbery? Answering that question led me into becoming an author.
I began writing the first draft at the time while I worked for an elderly couple
from Baisley Projects. My duty was to drive them where they needed to go; super
market, hair salon, etc.
On a couple of occasions, I drove them to Calvary Hospital, in the Bronx to
visit their youngest daughter who was dying of Cancer. A week after our last
visit, she sadly passed away. That's when her father looked me in the eyes and
made an important statement, which I felt the world needed to know. With teary
eyes, he spoke slowly and lowly. I comforted the bereaved man standing over his
wife sitting in her wheelchair. I looked well into the matter and felt
responsible to address this issue the best way I knew how, through story
telling.
